Enjoy By 2/14/15 - something seriously wrong

    I'm a big fan of this beer, had a half dozen or so different releases. But there's something seriously wrong with this one. I've had 2 bottles, both the same. I bought these last Friday at a Nugget Market in Vacaville, CA. So this has merely been moved from So Cal to Nor Cal.

    It smells like rotting garbage, and it tastes bad too. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

    Rotting garbage aroma is a good indicator of an infection. Contact the brewery.

    You can try contacting Stone. I am of the opinion that this is the best batch of Enjoy By that they have ever put out. I have had it on tap and have tasted multiple bottles. There have been no odors or bad flavors in my experience.

    Haven't had the 2/14, but a friend in PA who loves IPAs as much as I do, said it was his least favorite of the Enjoy By releases. He said there was something "off-putting" about it.

    I had some a few days ago - purchased in Santa Clara - and it was pretty good. I preferred this latest batch to the previous release.

    Nothing wrong with mine, but I did experience the same sensation you describe with a totally different Stone beer once before.

    Had one last night and was delicious, really light yet full flavoured at the same time, maybe the best IPA I've ever had.

    Had 02/14 last night thought it was great usually buy 2 of each release and will buy another tomorrow of this one good stuff

    I just had one of their Master Of Disguise Imperial Golden Stouts last week that I had to pour out because it was skunky - hopefully this is not a trend.

    I hated 12/26 but I'm drinking 2/14 right now and it's great. Not the best EB I've had, but really fresh and citrusy with a hint of dank.

    The one I popped open just a couple hours ago was one of the best ones I've had, and I've probably had 5 - 6 of the different releases.

    Mine was excellent- very tropical and dank. On the bottom it seems to be stamped 14QS35303 23:16
