Came in way early this year. Looks like the stores in south jersey that got it have sold out already. Price ranged anywhere from $13.99-16.99.

Yup, very surprising and I may have missed out. I know burlington county was cleared out on the day of delivery at most every store. Hopefully this is a sign of things to comes with firestone distribution though.

Agree. Maybe we can get stuff fresher than month and a half too but I may just be dreaming.

I'd be thrilled with month and a half haha. There's so many 6+ month old double jack and wookey jack bombers laying around in stores its ridiculous.

Can usually find some month to month and a half old double jack but other than that it's 4-6 months+. Usually have to wait at least a month and a half of their limited releases so was definitely quite shocked that we saw Sucaba within a week of the release.

northern NJ will probably not see it for another 3-4 weeks, and then it'll just show up, unannounced, and be gone before anyone realizes it

I head ya cause only 1 of the shops I got it from actually had it on shelves. If it weren't for a manager mentioning to me, I wouldn't have known about it.

Where will it go if no one realizes it on the shelves? :astonished:

Into the hands of those regulars that the manager knows would want it I would presume. Like I said, only reason I knew anyone got it was cause I was notified from beer manager at one shop and another I frequent (actually went in to pick up something else) asked if I wanted one. You figure most places are only getting 6 bottles (1 case) so it'll go fast even if it never saw the shelves.

yeah, this is pretty much the only way to get it in central/northern NJ -- know a manager personally to the point where they'll mention a new release kept in the backroom to you without being prompted.

Still a couple places here that will just put out releases but it's this way in south Jersey too.

Yup. Only way to get it in northern NJ is to personally stroke off the beer manager or work at the store. It will never see a shelf.

Thanks... might have to hunt a little when the snow dies down. Hope there's still a bottle in stock somewhere I like to shop, wife didn't find any at the Spirits Crossroads on Saturday.

Good luck with that hunt any store that has I would think would of blown through it within a few hours. I got two bottles one to drink one save. I could of gotten a third but wasn't gonna start hoarding.

Well I was out of town on wednesday, so yeah those would have been gone in hours. Its funny cause 2 other places that I know of get them will randomly not get a case and than randomly get a case. So a complete crap shoot.

18 was around for at least a week. Even places that don't put out Sucaba were sold out within 2 days. Last year it sat around in a few spots for months after release but not anymore. Getting harder and harder to score any of these releases without having a manager willing to hold one for you. Only going to get more and more tough with people using limited releases as a form or currency.
