We're expecting a couple of feet of snow here in NY tmrw, which equates to me drinking some boozey beers and shoveling.

I hadn't been the biggest fan of barleywines in the past, but am pretty open to most styles and could see myself getting into them.

Tomorrow would be a great day to crack it open, but would this be better with some age on it, or is there no better time than the present?

It's great fresh. Go for it. I wouldn't save it unless you had multiple and wanted to see how age would change it.

Two Ween-related avatars in a row. Shame to lose the streak, but it was pretty sweet while it lasted.

    I like beer.

thats why i bought 2, one to have fresh if my palate so desires, and one to have a year or 2 down the road (if my palate so desires).

Im just starting to cellar verticals, so far this is the first of that collection.

It sounds like you have never had it. Drink now.

Seriously, anytime in the first year from bottling date, you can't go wrong drinking this. Outside of that, I can't comment from experience, but anyone out there with 2014 or 2013 bottles, I'm willing to take them to sample.
