KBBS Trade Question

I like hoppy stuff without loving it though the best of TGs is damned good, ie Sosus & Pseudo Sue. King Sue however is ambrosial. That stuff is seriously divine.

Note, while I wouldn't trade crazy for KBBS, I would have loved getting a bottle or two. It's definitely something I'd buy cases of if I could.

 

A totally subjective response to your "is it worth it?" question:

I had the chance to try KBBS thanks to the amazing generosity of another BA who I consider a close friend. Was I glad I got to try it? Certainly. Is it the best beer I've ever had? Nope. Is it the best stout I've ever had? Nope. But again, I was super excited to get to try it.

So I guess my point is, if you REALLY feel like you need to try that beer, go for it, but it might not live up to the hype. Personally, I'd rather drink that West Ashley!

 

do yourself a favor and trade for Hipster Brunch, asking price is probably 1/8th KBBS and the beer is really fucking good

You could get a 4-pack of Hipster Brunch for just the Abraxas is all I'm sayin'

 

KBBS is 100 percent worth it.

YES! I'm going to get some this weekend and start bragging to people I have 4 bottles of KBBS!

 

KBBS is legit..... after drinking it, I instantly sought it out again.

I seriously considered trading for a KBBS. Then I came to my senses and decided to drink my beer instead.
At some stage you have to accept that no single bottle is "that" good.
