Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

I didn't buy any beyond my 3 allocated. Its a great beer, but I just have too much Bruery beer to think about getting more than that of something that I think is better fresh, especially considering that I dont trade anymore and all of my tasting group friends have had it.

 

Somewhat off-topic, but props to Chris from The Bruery for hooking Dark Tranquillity and Insomnium up yesterday. Great show last night, the sound guy was mixing like he had domed a Black Tuesday but the bands both killed it.

 

I didnt and honestly I dont know if I will "max out" on anything this year. I have too many bottles from prior years memberships and im tired of paying $30+ per bottle plus S&H to get it to me across the country. Its only the end of January and I regret continuing my membership.

 

Whaaaat. How did you find out about that? Did you see them at the tasting room?

 

Insomnium posted a picture on Facebook that looked like it was taken in the barrel warehouse and Mikael Stanne gave Chris a shout out from the stage last night.

 

any guesses for february allocations?

with only two bottles for january i'm hoping for an intersting month.

 

With Modern Times and Lost Abbey constantly putting out releases, I could always use a slow month from Bruery.

 

My guess (and I also hope it is true) would be Chocolate Rain and Filmishmish..but I could be wrong on Film. I have no clue if their Terreux bottles and offerings are ready.

 

I'm hoping Filmishmish, sitr peaches, and sans. Let's get some sours going!

 

I hope it's nothing remarkable because I won't be paid until the end of February (hooray for being in education!)

If I was a betting man...and I am, I'd put money on CR.

 

The sours are not going to be for awhile and probably will be real low limit allocations

 

What's Modern Times releasing next month?

Well lets be real guys, for those of you that are new, the allotments are USUALLY 2 RS and 4 HS. That's pretty standard for them. You do get second change sales like MW but that doesn't happen every month.

 

Do you have a source on this comment or is this just random opinion?

 

You've read his posts, do you really have to ask?

 

Even at 8 per person (HS) Ill still be on the hunt for more Film and SitR/peach. I went through 2 cases of Film last year. Im ready for more!!
