I had 2 8oz pours of VR, 1 8oz pour of BCBCS and 1 8 oz pour of BCBBW the other night at a bar. Thank god it was a Friday night because I did not move more than 50 feet on Saturday.
Last summer took a 32oz fill of cherry rye down by myself. Drinks that good so it's that easy to kill a growler of any of them
Sounds wonderful to me. How terrible could it have been? That's less then 2 beers a person. I did a 2013 and 2014 BCBBW side by side on a Tuesday night a couple weeks ago. An hour later I went out and had some pizza. I know everyone likes to pretend that no one ever gets drunk on this site, but c'mon guys. The other day I actually read a post that said "has anyone out there ever finished an entire bomber by themself?" Seriously?
I completely agree. Members on BA are starting to move towards the "Taste the wine and spit it out" crowd. Drink the beer, Enjoy it. Get drunk every so often, and enjoy that as well. No one is saying you have to go out and get belligerently slammed, but sometimes drunk is fun (especially when you are with friends and family). I get drunk. Especially when drinking 10%+ beers. There I said it.

Two 16oz beers... when you're drinking 15% that should be 8oz pours you're going to get hammered. Our plan was to 'take it easy' the night before St Patrick's, and we woke up wondering what happened. Granted, we drank a few other beers also.
