From the Dec./Jan. Yankee Brew News....

    Tributary Brewing Co. Kittery,Maine.

Devout stout fans will be happy to know that a certain imperial stout was brewed in october.Release date to be sometime in march, after signature aging on port-soaked oak.

I'm wondering what the yield will be here?

    Cheers All...

    I'm wondering ...

1.) Will this be bottled or growler/tap-only? Will it be sent around locally? I think part of the fun part about KtG was the ability to stash a couple bottles aside. This isn't something I'd do with a growler.
2.) How will the response be to this considering all the barrel aging done now? If I recall correctly, it was something like 11 different malts in this brew. It's a delicious beer that I remember being complex and bold a few years back, but how will it compare to what we have available now? Will our nostalgia make us really happy to have this beer back, or will it disappoint us?

To my knowledge Tributary has no bottling on site.

I hope the response is poor and people completely ignore the release.

The good news is that it's not a triple or quadruple or something-cool-that-we-don't-even-know-about-IPA so most of the people here won't care!

    I kid, I kid.

I wish they did bottle or can. Their pale ale is outstanding. To see it in a store cooler would be very good!

Iron Heart canning being called in would be cool.......:sunglasses:

I'm sure Todd and the gang at worst, could hand bottle them.Thats what they did at Portsmouth Brewery.

I know you're just trolling, but it was spelled out clearly in the kickstarter what the money was going towards.

"We humbly ask you to consider a pledge towards a successful campaign to purchase a mill & auger system, keg washer, CIP (Clean in Place) system, kegs, and a cute little delivery truck to bring you Tod's beer."

Cool. I need to get back down there soon, it's been about three months. I just wish I didn't have to pay $7 in highway tolls every time.

You can always budget an extra two hours and take the surface roads, bouncing along like the jeeps in The Rat Patrol.
