On Wednesday I wish I had cbs last because it blew the kbs on draft out of the water

 

Tried CBS for the first time today and it was pretty darn good. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but really did love the maple aspect of it. Not a fan of the '13 Backwoods, though. Seemed like a bit of a hot mess. Was thinking of aging a couple of bottles from last year's release, but I'm seriously reconsidering it.

 

I did the same thing today but it looked like there was a lot of street parking even two blocks behind the brewery where all the construction is going up.

 

I like to park in the lots under the S curve to the northeast of Founders but only on the weekends. It may cost a few bucks but I like the location. I usually get a bite to eat at Hopcat or Stella's before or after my visits to Founders. There's a few other places around there that look like interesting places for a bite to eat and drink as well but I haven't got around to them yet.

 

I stopped by Founders today. I was a little surprised to purchase a four pack of '13 and '14 Backwoods Bastard. I got them at approximately 4:00PM and they had at least 8 cases sitting in the gift shop at that time.

I had a CBS and the Sweet Repute XXX. CBS is a champ. I didn't notice much difference between Sweet Repute XXX and what I recall from my bottle of Sweet Repute that I had about a year ago. I'm glad I tried it but I would never drink Sweet Repute XXX over CBS ever again.

 

10 people in line right now @9:52. Only seeing backwoods so far

 

They still got an hour to bring up those cbs and reputexxx bottles!

 

lining up and posting about it has become an entire craft beer sub-culture

 

The backwoods is leftover from yesterday sounds like. Should be there in 20 minutes or so

 

Lining up an hour early? Do you have some inside info or just hoping?

@Ckoz we keep missing each other. I stopped by Thursday. I had 2 CBS and an XXX. Makes my 6th time having CBS this year but it tasted so different at the source. (In a good way) First time having the XXX, very impressive !

 

I was able to stop in last night and finally try CBS, and of course, it did not disappoint. Also was able to try Sweet Repute and Boyl'rMak'r. The big surprise for me was the Backwoods '12....amazing
