No worries! Yeah, I haven't had BB8 yet.. and figured getting it to go at this point would be near impossible.. so I thought getting to try it next to the DR15 would be a good way to have it!

 

Poison Girl has on-premise BB#8 for $8. It made my pinball game worse.

 

Boondoggles still had some when I went a couple days ago. $8

Had the last one at boondoggles.. Worth the trip.. I think it's much more ready to drink immediately than 1 3 or 7 were which were stouts.. Though different stouts than this one. I wouldn't age this one as much.

 

Guys in clear lake/Webster area union tavern on el dorado and hwy 3 is releasing bb8 this evening

 

Sooooo........Bishop's Barrel 8 is fucking delicious and you should try it if you can. I'll admit, this is worth the price of admission!

Fellow Texans.......keep an eye out for Saint Arnold Brewery Bishop's Barrel #8. In my humble opinion; this is THE best beer to ever come out of a Texas brewery. Founders KBS has nothing on this beer. It is absolutely fantastic. Makes me proud of our Texas beers.

Already been talked about, but yes I agree. One of the best beers I have had from a Texas brewery. DR 5 and now DR15 in the same league, and of coarse Live Oak Hefe. BB 8 has roots in one of the two original great beers from Texas, at least since I have been living here.

Had it at Flying Saucer in Fort Worth and this is defiantly in my top 5 favorite beers brew it Texas. It was $12 for a bottle and totally worth it.

 

I apologize for the tardiness of my post. Went back and read the lengthy previous post as Champ103 suggested. BB8 just hit Amarillo on Thursday. Bought it at my favorite local bottle shop. My comment about taste is heartfelt, though. As a stout guy, I've never been a true Saint Arnold advocate. BB8 though; I would rate it right up there with KBS, Parabola, and the barrel aged Ten Fidy that hit town last year.

Ah you are in Amarillo. I now get your post a lot more. Glad to see some of that making its way out there. Hopefully that area continues to make some strides towards getting good beer.

Copy that. Bought it at a local what we call "Liquor Store".

 

I was asking because in 95% of Saint Arnolds , this is only available at restaurants or bars. We do NOT get it at bottle shops in Houston.

 

I thought we were talking about pizza.. what happened?
