Let us not forget that If this does get litigated, the Law will give zero F$&ks about Pat's response.

Im pretty sure if someone died in your family and you told them what happened they would make an exception. But completely spacing out and then emailing two weeks later is a different story. Lets just hope no one has to experience that situation in the first place

I hope no one thinks I'm defending Pat because his response was totally out of line, just not surprising. All I've been saying is, it didn't happen to me and I'm going to keep drinking Alpine's beer.

I still can't wrap my head around how this dude "spaced" and forgot to pick up his beers, though. Kiwi Herman was a big deal around these parts. It sold out almost immediately. Lots of people tried their asses off to get bottles and got shut out. Lots of loyal regulars and locals got shut out. This guy actually scored a couple tickets and then forgot to pick up his bottles?!? Understand, I'm not saying he's at fault for Pat's responses--I just think this is a supremely "WTF?!?" moment. Seriously, wtf, guy?

I find it hilarious that people are so fucking butt hurt from once flippant comment from a cranky old dude. Has anyone even asked Pat what he intention was? He probably thought he was being funny and did anyone think he might have gone back to BPT and gave a refund? People these days on this site and in society are so entitled and PC and ready to jump on the whoa is me bandwagon. Half the people posting horrible things about Alpine have never been there or tried their beer and I bet 90% couldnt pick out Pat from a police line up. Get over it. BTW the beer is great, but at the end of the day its only beer.

    ...because he got high...

Edit: And they were young man, probably quite a bit younger than you or I. Kids are babied and no longer taught that the world is cutthroat at times.

This site has turned into something that is worse than yelp. And that is saying something.

I can't understand it myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more common that we all think. Alesmith's library sales are largely comprised of beers that didn't get picked up during their release window (at least for the more recent beers).

Except for LA, which is usually a single weekend day. I think this is the first time they are doing both saturday and sunday. To me that is super strict.

Wow you really know me bro from my comments. I could care less about other breweries that dont make good beer. You can put money on that. Were the comments warranted? Not at all and I am not defending Alpine or Pat for being dicks. I am just saying people are so quick to jump on the hater bandwagon on this site. But read into it what you will. Good day to all.

Well thank you for explaining to me what I said or meant. I guess when I said "I am not defending Alpine or Pat" I actually was being ironic or was trying to trick all of you into thinking I was thinking the opposite? Or was I? Wait I am confused......

I think they've redeemed themselves. They put smiley faces on growler lids.

Somewhere on an Alpine hillside is a teetering boulder with karma written all over it.

Why is it that when someone uses the word "entitled" in a post, the chances are high that "butthurt" and "PC" will also appear in said post?

Yet another bickering whiny bitch fest of a thread in the Pacific forum.

Whoa! I just saw on the local news a story about a boulder rolling off a hill in Alpine and destroying a commercial building. No kidding! Hope you feel good about yourself!

Had Nelson at Beachwood BBQ today. It tasted off from the growler fill's I got from Alpine on Friday. Definitely not the same. Brought a bottle of Pure Hoppiness in to share. Spot on! Changes are on the way.
