This was my experience as well. It absolutely was not the regular wake n bake. As a fun side by side, they ran regular wake n bake through a randall with cinnamon and vanilla... now that was strong!

Love Cloverleaf, been going there for 10+ years... but I cannot, and will not ever, understand why they run these events AT 11 IN THE MORNING ON A WORKDAY. WHO CAN GO TO THESE THINGS?

Okay so my ounces are off my mistake. Either way I know what I paid for 2 glasses. Not worth the price tag. No price was given prior to the release. Just stated served with a fresh cinna bun on top of the glass. It was deff REG W&B. Even the bar tenders were saying they did not taste any cinnamon. @dazedandconfused Did you have a bottle of the CINNA rolled? Its was an UNREAL amount of cinnamon in the bottle. "Notable differences" Yeah the bottles released from terrapin have a overwhelming taste of cinnamon the keg at cloverleaf no cinnamon. Hope you all enjoy the event. For my first experience there it put a bad taste in my mouth. First impression is everything, So I will not be going to the clover ever again. I will stick to picking up bottles of those rare beers at local stores instead.

All of it. I thought this post was about Alpine being available at a special event at Cloverleaf. Did the first post get edited and I'm missing information? What's the discussion about labels? What's this facebook business? What is this Spring Hill business?

I too have been to Cloverleaf for many tappings such as KBS/Doom day, BCBS Black Friday this year, many of the DFH 120 events, FW aged tappings, NJCB Birthday Party etc. I've never not known the price and or size of pour before. It is always spelled out on the beer menu that they produce several times a day.

I would also add that they'd never knowingly pass off a beer as something that it wasn't.

Roger Wilco Pennsauken has Duet on tap. Just picked up a couple crowlers on my way home from work.

Was at Cloverleaf yesterday and they actually had Hoppy Birthday and Duet on tap already.

    Underwhelming to say the least.

Duet kicked and they put on Captain Stout. Captain Stout was pretty forgettable.

No Nelson? Duet is good, but reports are GF version of Duet are subpar. Even at its best, Nelson better than Duet. Curious with all the tap takeovers whether they will have Nelson. No one wants Captain Stout.

Honestly, I rushed home from work to get a fill of Regular Coffee but missed that by minutes (kicked in 2 hours :slight_frown: ). I guess Duet was an ok consolation but I have not had that in awhile so it could be a shadow of its former self. Wonder why they did not tap Captain Stout at the same time?

I can guarantee you that the cloverleaf didn't try to dupe their customers. if anything, they got duped. I had a similar thing happen where they thought they had a barrel-aged version of a port brewing beer, but it was definitely the regular version. my guess is that they simply never had the barrel-aged version and didn't know what it was supposed to taste like. not their fault.

...that being said, I'm fine with you not going to the cloverleaf again. more beer for the rest of us.

Nelson is a seasonal/limited release. With a 99/100 rating on Beeradvocate, the West Coast will likely scoop up the majority of the distributed Nelson.

Nelson is year round. GF may rotate which Alpine beers are brewed each month however Nelson is not a seasonal/limited release.
