The next beer I rate will be my 100th beer. I would like to make it a "nice" choice and would like some input. I have the following available: Jackie O's Bourbon Beer Woodburner Stout, Deschute's Mirror Mirror, Three Floyd's Blot Out the Sun, and Deschute's Hop Henge IPA. I am not particular to any style, any input?

Stick your hand in the fridge/cupboard and pull whatever comes to hand first. Or drink the beer that's the style you're craving most at the time.

On name alone Blot Out The Sun. Other first choice Hop Henge 'cause . . . DIPA.

hop henge, but really, you are making a big deal about the milestone. It's fun to note them, but if you put too much fuss into it, you might end up altering your expectations of the beer or be disappointed if "beer #100" isn't that good.

Revisit the beer that was your first review and then update or revise that review.

Crack all of them, pour them into one glass and drink it as beer #100

This! You don't need our input on which beer you should enjoy. Just blindly grab a bottle and get to work! Oh, and Congrats on #100!!

Since OP asked the question, I'm guessing it matters to him/her?

I like cracking nice beers to celebrate stuff, from bigger stuff like birthdays and anniversaries to small things like a good friend coming over or the completion of a work project. When I hit a milestone rating, I like cracking a nice beer for that too. The milestone is not even that important to me, but its a fun excuse to drink something I've been holding on to.

Based on the list of 99 you've had so far, and your ratings...Perhaps Stone Enjoy By?

(Too bad GLBC Chillwave isn't out yet)

You won't remember #100 by the time you hit #150. Don't worry too much about it.

Enjoyment is entirely arbitrary and up for interpretation. What we say is a good beer will not necessarily be a good beer for you. Close your eyes, pick one, and make the best of the experience. Does it really matter in the end which one you pick?

I'd say Wood Burner just for the Ohio cred, but I also live in Ohio, so take that for what it's worth.

Wood Burner all the way. Mirror Mirror's a not so close second and I love me some Mirror Mirror.
