Favorite Places to have a beer

    Board at work, so I am going to start this. Of the myriad of favorite this or that threads this seems like one of the least rehashed. Seeing how I get more use out of beerfly, and more enjoyment from reading those reviews, I want to ask: What are your top 5 places to have a beer. Wide open question, can be brewery, bar, restaurant, whatever.

    Mine are:
    The Blind Pig Brewery, Champaign, IL
    The Gingerman, Houston, TX
    Prince of Whales, Aberdeen Scotland
    The Avenue Pub, New Orleans, LA
    Guildford Arms, Edinburgh, Scotland

    A quick trip to my cellar then out to my patio around the firepit. And with the right beer, maybe a cigar.

    Other than my apartment or a friends house, I would have to say Milltown in Carrboro, NC, Tyler's in Durham, or Parrothead Pub in Shelby, OH with dakkon54.
    Oh come on, some friends over who know craft beer is always fun.

    Beer garden on a lawn overlooking the sea. Magic on a hot summer's day or on one of those long evenings where the sun just slips below the horizon over the water.Plenty of good crisp cool cask ale to drink while enjoying it all.Fortunately I know such a place and visit it often.
    Same pub in the winter but in front of a big roaring log fire.
    Two brewery taps in my area both with a selection of faultlessly kept cask ales.
    Fifth choice could be any of our countless excellent and welcoming pubs serving cracking good beer.Unfair to pick out any one in particular.

    For the beer selection, and pretty good atmosphere too, favorite pub's gotta be Rattle N Hum when I make it to NYC.
    Favorite pub for the fellowship and memories, and damned good beer too, Keegan Ales, Kingston, N.Y.
    Favorite for fellowship and tasting fine beers is the Doom Saloon.
    Favorite for tasting some great homebrews with my hb buddies is Pantano's Homebrew Supplies, 3rd Thursday night every month.
    Favorite spot to have a beer and relax is in my barcalounger in the mancave with some righteous Mozart and a Rocky Patel.

    My awesome deck.
    My cousin's house.
    My friend's house on Cape Cod.
    Out with dad at Tullycross in Manchester CT. (Really though, anywhere out with dad. Love ya dad.)

    Yep, that is the way I feel. Though we live in opposite parts of the country now, so our time is few and far between. We were able to meet up in Denver and had some beers at Bull & Bush and Golden City a few weeks ago.
