Beer Advocate needs a Bottle Opener Thread. That one is cool.

 

I posted this on NBS and I drank it at 6:30 a.m. this morning. My mother in law is staying with us so I need to change up my drinking habits, which as it turns out make me look like even more of a lush

 

Tasty stuff this... Hope the other Anchor beers I have can live up to this one.

From day one, Abacus was one of the best beers ever...and over time
at around 50 degrees it has developed into something almost magical.

The 2015 Sucaba is good... but... needs some time... It comes off as a bit
too hot and with a heavy wood presence. The butterscotch, toffee vanilla,
etc. are there, but are sort of in the background. If you have some of this,
try it now but save some for later, it should get better.
