This is intriguing if true, there is no mention of it on brouwers blog site though. Can anyone confirm?

    I apologize! I meant Toronado. Tomorrow 7pm!

Go to events tab on their website.

Also, they posted the taplist on their FB page.

    Humulus Lager
    Autumn Maple
    Tart of Darkness
    Oude Tart
    Atomic Kangarue
    Ignis Fatuus
    Melange #1
    Chocolate Rain

So do they show Seahawks games at Toronado? Seems like it would be bad for business not to.

It would bad for business for emergency rooms not to show Seahawks games.

So gotta give credit where credit is due here. Took some family members to the Toronado last night and the menu has improved dramatically! The new burger and the cornbeef hash are both fantastic. Beer selection was extra awesome since they just had that centaur fest last weekend and I had Abraxas on tap for the first time. Matt Bonney was even out working the floor saying hi to all the tables, it was very cool. Most of the crew last night were not big beer experts but they were all very impressed with the place.

Got a table with ease around 5:30, but the place started filling up around 7:30ish. Glad to see them thriving in that location.

Toronado's hash is epic. That is all.

Good to hear they improved their menu. It was very strange even for Seattle.

A table with ease? That doesn't sound like any Toronado I know, especially SF.

it was on the earlier side, i dunno. Like I said, by 7:30 or it was a full house.

i feel like toronado is slowly creeping back into my radar. better pricing, better menu, and the beer list over the past couple of weeks has been stellar. probably will give it a shot next time i'm in that area.

Is this place kid-friendly, or at least kid-tolerant?

I've been to the Toronado in San Diego, and it definitely was. I've read that the one in SF is not so much.

    Toronado Seattle is 21+.

It seems like they (and Brouwers) could do more business if they were all ages. At least up until 8pm or something like that.

The PNW has no shortage of places where people can get a beer with their kids in tow. Not every establishment needs to cater to every customer.

I miss Mutiny Hall (RKP, they were in the space where Toronado is) being all ages, but I have no problem with Toronado being 21+.

Agreed. However, I think all taprooms should be dog-friendly.

So we'll be visiting Seattle, Portland, and Hood River with our daughter this summer.

Are there any breweries or restaurants in those cities other than Brouwers and Toronado that aren't kid-tolerant? I know if I dig enough I can probably find the answer to that question, but maybe some of you locals may have the answer on the tip of your tongue...

Breweries in Seattle, for the most part, are kid welcoming. Fremont feels like a daycare sometimes. All the Ballard ones allow children. Bars and restaurants are a case by case basis.
