    Cans by far.

I can't believe how many people are drinking out of bottles and using that as a key reason for their preference over cans. Get a glass!

Yes, but just like with a bottle, when the can comes out of the fridge, it gets opened, poured into a drinking vessel and then enjoyed.

I look infinitely cooler holding a can.

Any time I'm transferring beer to an event (golf, fishing, BBQ, pick nicks, parties, etc....) I like to go with Cans. I think it's easier to transfer and I can drink from the can and still get some aroma from the beer. I generally like every day beer from cans. The more expensive stuff, or the more fancy stuff I like to pour from a glass to a glass. Also, I home brew so I like to be able to save the bottles for my brewing experiments.

I like cans but I have noticed with the increased number of beers being canned in recent times that the can section of the store can become a sea of vagueness. That is you end up with a shit ton of cans all looking similar stacked next to and on top of one-another and it can be a real pain in the ass to even recognize what brewery brewed the beer in the first place without a cardboard holder like Sixpoint or Troegs uses. I'm all for cans though because they are lighter to carry, easier to transport and I believe better for beer.

My recycling is 100+ yards from the front door, so yeah, cans.

Cans all the way for me. I know I'd be buying a lot more Lagunitas and DFH if they were available in cans.

Nearly everything I buy is a 22 ounce bomber or a 750 ml bottle. I generally cellar most of these for an extended period. Cans don't really enter into this equation.

When I do buy a sixer of something to drink soon, I pour out of the container into a glass, so the vessel it comes in doesn't really matter. Or it's a big IPA or DIPA and a bomber is about the amount I want, so...

I have nothing against cans, but they don't suit the way I drink beer.

I'm going with both! I've had great beers from cans and bottles, and bad beers from cans and bottles, so it's hard to differentiate between the two for me.

You are onto something here. I would love to have DFH 60 minute in cans for all my outdoor activities.

Cans all the way. A lot of outdoor activities here in Denver makes this a no brainer

I'd say that's due to the fact that they replaced real sugar with high-fructose corn syrup. I think pop made with high fructose corn syrup is disgusting.

    Bottles I'm guessing?
To reuse a bottle, it simply needs to be cleaned, sanitized, and relabeled.
To reuse a can, it must be melted down (during which the dyes on the can are burned and then become carcinogenic particulate matter), and forged into a new can, then relabeled/screenprinted- all of which uses TONS of energy.

(@cavedave if you really did choose cans, you have some research to do my friend.)

Aluminum products are made with about 30 - 35% recycled aluminum. The energy and resources used to change bauxite in to aluminum oxide and then into aluminum is staggering, and needing to constantly add 65 - 70% of the material from mining bauxite is bad. Cans are not the earth friendly choice for definite.

Glass is certainly refillable, and properly recycled it is possible to make new glass with old. The raw material is abundant, though, and not in danger of running out, so no matter which way you go with glass it is better.
