The gentleman working the register tonight said it lasted a half a hour longer this year than last year's. I guess that's progress?

Wow. Probably due to the 1 case limit, but that only giving a half hour, that is crazy.

After using line breaks like that, I though sure you were writing a poem about Hopslam and that that last line was going to rhyme. I feel like you left us hanging there.

Maybe, "I got a 6 pack, in their faces!" ??

    Syllables, too bad.

I limited myself to 2 bottles. How's that for a limit? Figured I should get some just for nostalgic purposes

This can't be legit. I'd have to assume that allotment just came in or is going on the shelf or something....I mean, Hopslam isn't even that good anymore....

South Lyndale released yesterday, no limit on Hopslam. I know Haskells DT Mpls is getting 15 cases, and Salem Liquor in Inver Grove is getting five! It will be around.

Is this one of the first "bigger" releases where TW is a good deal off from the low price leader in the area? 6 packs can be fairly easily got for $14.99-15.99. I know it's just 2-3 bucks more at TW, but that's something. TW is still the low price leader for Abrasive as far as I know ($14.99)

My stepbrother just paid $23 after tax in Saint Cloud, yikes. How does this beer still have such appeal?

Because it's really damn good, no matter how much the beers around it change!

(Though $23 is pushing the envelope too far, perhaps)
