I've never had a tequila barrel aged beer. I may pick that one up. Really want the AB Noir...like bad.

I sure hope someone says how the price per oz is crazy, and then someone else compares it to Jester King prices.

I personally am really hoping for someone to bring up that one time Prairie had problems with infection and generalize it to all of their beers.

This will prob cost $1/oz and will most likely be infected (just like ALL of Prairie's beers).

Seriously though, I'v never had a tequila barrel aged beer, and I can't see it imparting much flavor (but Prairie seems to think subtle to no barrel is the key...dig)

I've had oskar blues tequila barrel gubna. There was a good deal of tequila flavor in that. It came off like bitter hoppy tequila without the tequila burn. If you don't like the taste of tequila then I would stay away.

You guys had Encendía, right? Tequila is mezcal made with only blue agave (sort of). Also, Twisted X Señor Viejo is aged in tequila barrels that were previously Jack Daniels barrels.

    I want to drink this.

Tequila Barrel Aged Branson Jamboree tasted so much like tequila it was nigh undrinkable. Not hoping for a repeat.

Hah tequila and mezcal are way different but sort of the way champagne and sparkling wine can be sort of the same

Just an oversimplification. I doubt most people could tell the difference between the spirits, let alone the character imparted by the barrels.

Tequilla Mexican Cake was better than the Bourbon Cake IMO. Was really nice.
