Looks like the Prairie crew are back to creating more delicious barrel aged stouts! This is a new beer called OK-Si and it is an Imperial Stout aged in Tequila barrels. From looking at the label, this will be packaged in 12oz bottles and will clock in at 12%abv. No word on release date and distribution at this time, but I'm hoping to get to try this one!

these guys and jester king have the coolest labels IMO

    hopefully it's not $12/14 per 12oz.

That's very exciting news. I'm a big fan of their beers and wish we got a better selection in NV. We typically see very few, if any.

Was not a huge fan of the JK Encendia, but maybe a stout will handle it better? Wyders Reposado Pear Cider handled it well. Hoping Prairie is a hit and not a miss!

I am in Nevada as well. Just curious if you can recommend a bottle shop. I have been getting my beers locally at Total Wine and Lees. Have to go to CA to get some of the better items like Prairie or buy on tap at Aces and Ale.

I wouldn't have anything to trade if that happened! Thanks to Prairie's Apple Barrel Brandy, I was finally able to get a little Pliny, Heady and Focal Banger.

Some of the other Oklahoma breweries have nice drops, but only Roughtail and maybe one other seem to really have what it takes to go national.

I got Bomb! For about $7-8 in Atlanta depending what store I hit and Christmas Bomb! Was a little higher if I recall. But I'd pay that all day for those brews. Hoping I can grab some more from these guys when I head down to Georgia in March.

Whole heartedly agree there! El Cedro is one of the coolest labels I've ever seen. And a damn fine brew at that.

Tequila Barrel Noir from Almanac is excellent (though I don't believe it's an imperial stout).

I agree re: the tequila barrel noir being excellent - the site categorizes it as an imperial stout and I'm gonna agree with that too
