Spiteful just dropped God Damn Coconut Pigeon Porter. Haven't had it yet, but that's probably worth keeping an eye on.

I hate to mention a whale, but BCBS Prop '14 has coconut water in it, and tastes (to me) much more coconut-forward than even last year's Prop, which was Coconut Rye. Prop '14 has lots of chocolate in it, as well. If you can obtain one, I'd highly recommend it.

Crankers Brewing and Paw Paw both did coconut porters. As far as other styles go, The Hideout did a brown ale called Coconut Almond Brown that was dominated by coconut. I love coconut and this beer had the most I have had in a beer.

I'll second Funky Buddha Last Snow. Tastes like a Mounds bar (but better)

I posted this a week ago. A lounge a frequent at takes Coronado Brewing Blue Ridge Coffee Stout and adds about 3-5 pumps of Torani Coconut syrup and adds a few toasted coconut flakes. And there you have it.

If you are interested in adding coconut to whatever beer you would like, try this:

-Toast a few teaspoons of shredded or flaked coconut (might have to play with the amount depending on beer).

-Put coconut in a french press with about a quarter of whatever beer you want.

-Let sit in fridge for about an hour.

-Pour coconut infused beer in a glass and add remaining beer and enjoy.

Fun way to infuse beers with coconut and works well most of the time. The oil from the coconut will pretty much kill any head from the beer, but the flavor is usually coconut forward if that's what you are looking for.

Man I must have been pretty lit at FOBAB because 14 Prop tasted like cinnamon raisin toast to me when I got around to it

def the obvious choice. they've actually upped the coconut on it recently. when i did a tour there they explained how they changed the recipe a bit, and it's noticeable in the cans. worth checking out!

Jack's Abby's Cocoa-Nut BA Framminghammer is spot-on chocolate covered coconut. Let me know if you'd like to trade for one.

No, the weird thing is, I've heard that multiple times before. I don't know if it's a batch thing (just like some bottles of '13 are still going strong and some are completely devoid of coconut) or different palates, but I picked up very little cinnamon and a crapload of coconut in the two bottles I've drank. So I definitely don't rule out either possibility!
