Hey Austin! Do yourselves a favor and go try Fully Adrift DIPA at Pinthouse. I'm sure my friends are tired of hearing me talk about this beer but damn it's one of the best DIPA's out there. Kinda pricey but you forget about that after you smell it. Formerly Batch 69, this one is a mosaic/citra hop bomb. Super juicy and easy to drink for 11%.

I loved Batch 69...definitely didn't drink like a 10% beer. Same beer, new name?

Yep it is the same beer we did last fall, we changed the name to avoid potential confusion with other beers named Batch 69 in the market after it placed 2nd at Alpha King… and the original Batch of this beer was the 69th batch we brewed (you may notice we list the batch numbers of our beers on the board) and we are well past that now so it was time for it to get a proper name. Last year it came in at 10.5% and this year we got a little more attenuation from our yeast and we got it to go to 11! Cheers! - Joe

    It would appear that way:

"SPECIAL RELEASE TODAY @ 11AM! Our “Fully Adrift” DIPA (formerly ‘Batch 69’), the 2014 Alpha King runner up, 11% ABV! "

Or, you know, the brewer can just answer the question for you.

Patrick I missed you by 40 minutes today, seriously this beer is fantastic!! All sorts of good smells and great body, drinks easy for 11% too. As always pinthouse presents a great beer, at 7 a pint I really can't complain considering the quality.

Joe, you guys did a great job with Fully Adrift. Also, I really liked the firkin of Jaguar Shark with Raspberries and Fudge. This two and a taster of the rum barrel aged Jaguar Shark made for an "interesting" lunch.

Will you stop spreading the word! If you keep this up it will be more difficult for me to get fills of this, lol. All in jest, I couldn't agree more though, every time they brew it I stop in for a pint and hope to do the same over the weekend.

My bad man! Honestly it deserves some hype. I will be back for more fills myself. Hoping it sticks around for a few weeks like last time!

Thanks! We should have Fully Adrift around for a little while, we did a large batch of it. Our hope is to brew it a few times this year with a little special riff on it this fall around harvest time, so stay tuned.

Had it this past Friday evening and wow it was fantastic. One of my favorite brews I had this past weekend of debauchery up in Austin. Hides 11% with ease
