Bad trader? @freddy3417

    So I recently agreed upon a trade with a Chicago trader where he was to send me two bottles of PF (the sold reason the trade begun) and one bottle of Cimmerian. I was also told the PF bottles were dated 1/14 or better. After I sent out my end, the trader sent his out and it arrived safely however one bottle of PF was swapped out with a Behemoth. I never mentioned a Behemoth at any point and in fact, this is a beer that while limited is still not hard to get in OH once it comes to distro. Also the one lonesome bottle of PF I did get was dated mid December. Once I contacted the trader, he said his buddy packed the box for him and shipped it out and it must have been a mistake and he would fix this. However, it has been almost a week and he has stopped responding. Anyone have issues like this before? What is the right course of action here? I'm pretty ticked off. PF is not something we ever see in OH (at least bottles) and if we do it's gone in the blink of an eye. Was looking forward to some fresh bottles and all I got was one not so fresh bottle.

    I have not, just said I would need to leave negative feedback if he doesn't respond soon. I didn't want to mention his username yet, I didn't know if that was appropriate.

    So he hasn't had any communication with you in a week, correct?
    Do you have his phone number?
    Do you feel you have exhausted all other options?
    Has he been on BA since you last spoke with him?

    His last message was Saturday night and he said "will get you shipping info tomorrow" which obviously never happened. I do not have a phone number, and would be semi hesitant to call anyways. That's a little weird for my tastes.

    Buddy shipped it? Never heard that one before! Sounds weak, especially since he has not made good. I would also be pissed about the lie on bottle date, a month is a significant amount of time. Bad feedback is warranted here.

    I looked at his recent activity and he has been obviously active all week, making posts here and there on the trade forums. I feel like people should be warned.

    sure, if you didnt get the beer you were told you were going to get, he said you would have tracking Mon and he dropped communication with you, and you want to let him tell his side, or warn the community.

    Would have been quite the scene if he won and very generous person who gave away beer was alerted to this thread.

    Takes quite the person to on one hand stiff someone and on the other hand put out their hand for free beer.

    @freddy3417 , get on this thread and tell your side of the story. Apparently the clock is ticking on your BA career.

    It also looks like @freddy3417 has 1 pending trade & 4 open trades. I hope the folks that are swapping beers with this fellow are aware of this thread.

    I don't want to judge (yet), but 3 completed trades & 5 open trades after less than six weeks on the site raises some red flags to me.

    i can say the same for the other user considering he forgot to mention that he did not send the right stuff at all what i wanted but thats fine i guess i can't work for a living and dedicate all my time to beer advocate sorry if i have to work and not able to get back to you in time shows. hell froze over today boys
