Naja's Place in Redondo Beach is 20 minutes away. My friend had a 3 hour layover at LAX, so I picked her up, and we grabbed a couple of beers at Naja's, and got her back with plenty of time to spare.

If your willing to risk leaving the airport this is pretty good.

There is the Library Alehouse in Santa Monica, almost equally far away as Najas...though I might not risk trying to find parking in SM if your in a hurry.

There is a Whole Foods in El Segundo (close to LAX) that had a pretty good selection, and an area to sit down, not sure if you am drink in store purchases there though? They do have beer on draft to drink there.

I really support the suggestion that was made of going to In n Out

Otherwise, not much going on in the airport

As I said in the previous thread stay at LAX, Dont bother or take a chance going out. Terminal 7 has Karl Strauss. I'm not sure what they have on tap right now. I probably can go check on my lunch break. I know they have 5 or 6 of their beers plus the usual crap like bud, bud lite, etc. Terminal 6 has Redondo Beach Brewing. There's a Gordon Biersch in one of the other terminals. What time are you flying in? What terminal?

Yea if you take a helicopter.....you must have been on the road at a very light time of day, even heading south on Sepulveda into the South Bay your looking at 35 minutes minimum, but hey if you pulled it off more power to you, no way would I suggest that in LA traffic.

    Cheers....
