    What is your favorite Pale Ale? no Indias or Doubles or ____ , just straight up Pale Ales.

    Ballast Point is a Kolsch if it matters at all.

    I'd say Pintail by Karl Strauss as mine. Or Alesmith .394, but I consider that one more of an IPA

    Hard to imagine a Pale Ale being better than Zombie Dust. Unfortunately I've yet to have the opportunity to try Hillstead Farms/Toppling Goliath/Main Brewing Co. offerings.

    Zombie Dust is the easy answer but everyone knows it's basically an IPA..
    If I had to pick one besides ZD, it would probably be Alpha King. But I'm currently drinking this Deschutes Red Chair NWPA and it's tasting really good. Mirror pond and Dale's are both really good as well.
