First off, a Schlitz 60s formula, no sign of any Gusto on the can. Then, an Oskar Blues Deviant Dale and now a Deschutes Hop in the Dark.

    Woah, deja vu...

So this beer from Founders is absolutely blowing my mind:

Get yourself one of these before it faces death by hyping!

Drinking the same beer as you but think the base beer is pretty average. The aroma is great, but I'm not digging the flavor and body as much. There is also a bit of heat as well which I am not used to picking up in Founders beer. I'd try it again, but most likely won't see it on shelves.

I'm sure I will be in the minority on this one, but that is to be expected with the hive mind of BA.

Oh man... I would totally join the Frangelic Mountain Brown fan club if there was one. Certainly can see how it wouldn't be for everyone though! Regardless, cheers man!

I didn't expect to be alone on this one tonight...and I would imagine that there will be many more sharing this brew with us tonight. Cheers!!!

Founders - Frangelic Mountain Brown...definitely unique and different, but if you don't like hazelnut coffee then this is NOT for you. In a word, this beer is INTENSE. It is very good, but very in your face. I am definitely enjoying it, but I'd say that the first batch of reviews coming in are suffering a bit from over excitement. Far and away one of the best smelling coffee beers of all time, but I don't think that this beer really warrants the crazy scores that people are giving it, but then again...who knows maybe all the reviewers are die-hard Hazelnut coffee freaks? Definitely above a 4.0, but...? Don't get me wrong, it is mighty tasty, but this one is already all aboard on the hype train. I imagine that the reviews will come down to earth as this gets into more mouths.
