Aged Gnarleywine is good. I had back to 1998 I think, along with Brown Shugga that was about the same age. I prefer Brown Shugga fresh. Hairy Eyeball is decent aged, but losing the hops leaves a rather bland malt base IMO. Great thing about aging their beers is they are so cheap it doesn't hurt to buy a couple to set aside for a while.

Do not age Cappuccino Stout. Seriously. Vegetal stale coffee.

Haha okay!! Thanks for the info!!

I currently have a Brown Shugga', an Extra!, a Hairy Eyeball and a Red aging. I'll probably crack open the Extra when the new series comes out. Might be a drain-pour, but you're right about how awesome their prices are and how it's always good to experiment.

That explains a lot I've only been legally drinking for 3 years...

I bet Sumthin' Wild would age well given that it has the Westmalle yeast strain...

Loving the night time in 12 oz bottles. I didn't discover this beer until recently and it's now my favorite black ipa, replacing Stone SSR. Haven't tried their pale or Maximus yet but I'm sure they're outstanding. These guys can't brew a bad beer.

    Two things:
1 - sucks 6 packs! Year round? REALLY hope that's true.
2 - Born Yesterday was possibly my favorite new beer I had last year. Can't wait for its return.

Gnarelywine was my first Lagunitas beer I ever had back in 2009 or something when I didn't like IPAs, glad I'll get to have it again.

Seriously, year-round 6ers of Imperial Red and Sucks! I'm ready to forgive them for the whole Hop Hunter fiasco if that truly happens.

None of us know the whole story there  I also recall reading that Sierra Nevada caused Lagunitas to change something many years ago. Tony said Sierra Nevada did not talk with him after asking repeatedly, so SN can obviously be kind of a jerk too. That said, I will be drinking more of both this year than I have in a long time :stuck_out_tongue: Cheers!

Need to get my hands on the Gnarlywine... Not sure how I haven't tried that one yet

And yes I am a Sierra Nevada fan-boy, but you cannot beat Lagunitas prices

I hope not, but I know the owner was seriously against it as of 2013.

You would think its beyond argument that cans are the future. I think they'll figire that out eventually.

Sucks 6packs would be awesome but not sure if that's happening since the 32oz are going to be full time. Gnarly wine just launched this week in WI

NightTime finally hit Michigan this week. Once again another great offering a 'low' price point.
