    New beer for me...too lazy to double post on NBS at this point (have two other options to consider...later)

    some serious tasty-ness...awesomely balanced, excellent hoppiness, exceptionally smooth despite the ABV%, on par with Bigfoot...I can't stand the overly-sweet profiles on a good number of barleywines...this is a phenomenal selection

    and on this unexpectedly rainy Sunday....the soundtrack aligns accordingly...all good...

    Duck Rabbit's 10th Anniversary, Anarchy @ Duckworths Huntersville, NC.My fist time trying this one-off American Stronger ale - definitely get an initial dryness from the portion that was aged in red wine barrels, with bourbon and charred wood in the finish. Very enjoyable beer... and I didnt have to crack into my stash at home:

    Its brunch-time and I can't think of a better way to proceed. I swear this beer is amazing. Thick pour. Strong coffee aroma. Flavor is incredible. That first sip is a combo of milk/dark/bakers chocolate, almost syrupy, and slightly bitter coffee (if you prefer your coffee black this is a treat). The mouthfeel is reminiscent of a melted milk shake, sooo thick and cloying, similar to their Vanilla Shake variant. I'd choose Brunch over VS any day.
