What beer are you drinking now? #855

Ah...beer 400! Lazy Mags Jeff Stout Sweet Potato Cream Stout...Hey, that's what it says on the label!

Nice creamy easy drinking milk stout (lactose added) brewed with sweet taters. 4.65 ABV.

I gave this a 3.55 on my initial rating, thought it was a little thin and lacking in flavor but now that it has warmed will probably adjust a little higher...it's "thickened" up quite a bit and the flavor seems much more balance now with a great chocolate milk quality that is slightly warm on the swallow...I like it!

You have a very astute eye in addition to being a very accomplished photographer. For the tree background that I've been using a lot lately because of the weather, I use a short stack of sandstone pieces left over from a patio project. It's an interesting looking surface when not covered in snow, and the beer sits on it quite nicely. I can shoot straight on, or looking upward for a couple of different looks without having to get too low to the ground. Although I've been seen by people crawling on the ground for other photos! My phone is my camera of choice for the ease of use.

It was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I'd recommend the Vanilla Buffalo Sweat from Tallgrass if you see it.

The super delicious New Glarus Strawberry Rhubarb, courtesy of @ldhughes3. My wife says this might turn her into a beer drinker. Definitely the most successful strawberry beer I've tried.

Improper glassware and all, this is a pretty tasty beer on a sunny Sunday afternoon. No big surprise. Sierra Nevada.
