Just saw on FB that Prime 16 will have Founders on tap this Thursday. Does anyone know if Founders is available in package stores yet? If no, does anyone know when it will be here?

I haven't noticed any on shelves yet, but I would assume that the shipment that included the kegs for Prime's event also included bottles. If the distributor can deliver kegs by Thursday, I would expect bottles to be available very, very soon.

Anyone else excited about Frangelic Mountain Brown on tap? :grinning:

Really psyched. I love Founders but have resorted to heading to NY to get it. Being able to get it here in CT is fantastic!!!

YES!! I am also hoping that "list subject to change" means they will add more awesomeness. I'm not looking forward to the crowd though

A picture was retweeted by either Founders or Prime 16 of the cases of beer sitting at a CT distributor, one guy at a store told me next week it should start hitting shelves

Amity has the four regulars and Cerise. Picked up some Red's Rye today. Brought a tear to my eyes to see them in CT.

I couldn't agree more. Feels like the whole state is just become more beer friendly. First, Sunday liquor sales, then we get Six Point, Green Flash and Clown Shoes, and finally we get Founders. It's like Christmas in June and July!

So I stopped at Amity Wine yesterday to pick up some founder's,seems they are the only store in my area that got some delivered already.Picked up a 6pk of porter,4pk of cerise and a 750ml. of Frangelic Mountain Brown. They were sold out of Centennial and Reds Rye as they only received a case of each.It was a joyous occasion to finally purchase founder's on CT's shelves...lol.

    Cheers All.....

I was just there not 10min ago and they had several packs of Centennial and Reds on the shelf if you wanted any. Guess they restocked.

Not like we have other options yet, but am I wrong in thinking the regular 6ers like Porter, Red's, etc are usually more like 8.99-9.99?

I know most of us who know Founders would buy all the porter I could carry at 10.99 but I'd hate to see it get passed up and make the retailers think people don't want the beer when its the price tag.

Yeah I hear you,I thought the 10.99 for the 6pk of porter was a tad steep, esp. 10.99 for a 4pk. of cerise, but after all this is pricey ass CT.Hopefully there will be some cheaper prices at other stores. Then again, these are the same beers that I was driving to MA. and NY. for.So atleast I save on the gas money....:astonished:

    Cheers

I love the fact that founders is in the state, just picked up 3 6 pks and theyre all crazy fresh, just dont like the prices, well i guess its better then wasting the gas to go to N.Y. or Mass

    Cheers

To both of you...no, the price is not steep/expensive. $10.99 for a sixer of Founders is the going price in Springfield/Western Mass.
