    This reminds me of Just Outstanding IPA from Kern River Brewing...why isn't this one rated as High? It's damn enjoyable. I get Amarillo hops maybe some Cascade too. It's mind boggling on how this weighted Rated System works around here. This brew is in the calibre of the Lower "90s". I'd give this an A- which is in my Recommended field.

    Just got home from Surly Brewing tap room...Had Todd The Axeman..cocoa Bender..Abrasive...stopped and got Abrasive, Coffee Bender and Deschutes- Freshed Squeezed on the way home

    Imperial Lager brewed with Mexican orange blossom honey, and hopped with Amarillo.

    I keep grabbing brews from this place because they're local...but this one is yet another in a long list of disappointing brews. It reminds me of a slightly bitter Welch's White Grape juice. It's "award winning," but I just don't get it.

    Maybe it's me.

    Wrong Price? Scored the Jupiter for $4. Haven't had the others but I figured I give this a shot. Made a ribeye with caramalized onions in a reduce red wind sauce. Beer was good for this price.

    Finally got to go back to work after snowzilla dumped about 14 inches on us last week...I was ready. I was also ready for this King Louie when I got off! I'm really digging this brew from O'fallon Brewery...the toffee gives it just a hint of bourbon...it's like a lighter Backwoods Bastard...half the price and a very tasty sweet water...cheers!
