Anyone else just get into one of those moods to drink some damn delicious beer?!?! I'm in the groove!

 

Really digging this adjuctified milky stout from those Pipeworks guys. One-third of the way to ticking the top 100 BeerAdvocate "Milk/Sweet Stouts"

No pics tonight (too lazy after leading a Cub Scout meeting with 11 boys). Started the night with a Founder's Black Rye and now working on a Westbrook Dark Helmet black rye lager. Cheers!

 

It's f'n cold so why not some BA Boris. This was the first BA stout that I had as a newb. Just like I remembered. Watching Slash with Myles Kennedy on Palladia while waiting for Better Call Saul.

Oh, man - LI (including Brooklyn) used to have a whole bunch of great places to catch metal in the 80's - now it's got maybe one or two, but only on certain nights, y'know - used to frequent L'amours (East and West) ...and there was a place called Sundance out in Bayshore that got all the cool bands... Met up with some friends I haven't seen in a long time. Had some good beers and good food. Had 2 Hopslams and a Right Brain Shadow Watcher Stout. Hopslams were awesome on draft and the Watcher Stout was above average. A little watered down.

My buddy got the All You Can Eat Frog Legs. Never had them before so he gave me one and they weren't terrible. Check off frog legs from tried it once category.

Now drinking a Third Coast Old Ale. Old Ale, Barleywine, whatever you call it, it's delicious. Poured it cold out of the fridge. Definitely better as it's warming up. Bought it on Friday with a bottle date of 9/5/14. #liquorstoreaging

Might be a rough day at work.

Pretty excited to see sixers of this on the shelf. Like Born Yesterday, we didn't even get any when it was in bombers. I had to trade with some punk, bandwagon Giants fan to get one.
