I know what you mean. I moved here 3 years ago and the humidity was the biggest surprise and has been the toughest thing to acclimate to. But I am very happy that I have not seen snow in those three years. I will take that trade off any day.

Dave, that cellar collection of yours has me intrigued- it's quite impressive. How long have you been building it, how often do you drink something with age (at least a year or 2) vs something fresh that you just bought, and how many bottles of beer do you think you buy each year?

Also, does anyone have more beer on hand than Mr. Cellarman?

Neighbor is in to craft beer a little because I give/share good stuff with him. Originally from StL and is back visiting his brother for a bit. I mentioned side project and it just so happens his bro lives near-by and knows a bartender there or something. Now I get the "this is an awesome place, thanks for the heads up, if it wasn't all on premise consumption only I'd hook you up" text. Happy to help him out but at the same time . Any StL shelf turds I should have him look for?

 

For the first time in this case, I'm drinking one of my nugget nectar straight from the can... it just doesn't feel right, but it's still fantastic

Content question for my target: I see that you have a few Jester King beers on your Wants list. I can hit one (maybe two) of them, but not all. I could easily fill out the maximum limit with other JK 750ml bottles. Like this post if your would like for me to do that. If you do not like it, you will still get the 1-2 JK bottles on your Wants list but I will fill out the box with other great beers and hitting a few more Wants in the process.
