    This happened yesterday, never got a chance to post. A bigger and bolder Pliny. It's amazing how well balanced this was. So incredibly smooth for a 11%. Hops & Pie handled the event so well. I will be doing this again next year...

    This beer has been the most pleasant of surprises in quite a while. I'm not a big buyer of Upland, but damn they hit a home run with this one. It may not be world class, but it sure packs some complex barrel flavor and drinks a bit hotter than the 9.5 listed on the bottle. Easy to obtain four packs at 10-12 bucks to boot. With a little tweaking, this could compete with the best. Regardless, I'm sold and will keep buying until they're gone.
