Dark Lord Day (DLD) 2015

Jeez, in one paragraph you managed to make DLD sound like Gitmo. Hopefully your post will make tickets easier to get.

 

Hopefully the ticketing has been figured out. Last year left alot of people pretty upset. Nobody knew whether getting in 15 minutes before noon would have helped them get their two tickets.

People are gonna be pretty upset no matter what. It doesn't matter how they sell tickets. It part of the wonder of Dark Lord

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see Anthrax playing, they come in to the brewpub every time they're in town and are in the same vein as a lot of bands they have playing at Dark Lord Day or on the record player at the brewpub on any given day. Could also see them getting Amon Amarth considering they've done a collab beer.

 

From what I heard its going to be a Kayne West, Justin Bieber duet.

 

Nope, then they would be paying $40 and giving away free beer, not charging.

 

I don't think anyone that likes either of those two is even old enough to get in. I think we should invite them and let them metal heads take care of the problem though

 

I've been old enough to get in for a decade +, and I (used to) like Kanye West. He's a complete egomaniac and an asshole, but his first few albums were great hip hop, and he's a talented producer.

With that being said, I would mind seeing an entire group of drunk metal heads give him a little bit of a hassle at DLD!

the drama would be off the charts. I saw his "set" (if you could call it that) at one of the earlier Lollapolooza's almost a decade ago now and he spent 70% of the time berating his crew/Lolla event staff because his fancy light show wasn't working right. I get that you are trying to deliver a certain experience, and to some people anything short of perfection just doesn't cut it, but he came across like a whiney little baby. Anyways I digress, what were we talking about? oh yeah, so i heard there's this special presale code for the people that bought infected bottles in 2014. I have the email somewhere but I can't seem to locate it now...

 

Yeah, he's definitely really whiny. I mean, do you remember that time (a year or two ago) where he specifically made sure a guy was handicapped because he had told all the fans at his concert to stand up? Like you said, "I get that you are trying to deliver a certain experience," but that just looked awful, and was a real insight into how much of a jerk he is. Tell everyone to stand up, and if they don't, they don't. You don't call a dude out and ask for proof that he can't physically stand.

Also, I guess I wish I bought anything of theirs that was infected...

I would be completely down for some sword but I'm sure they will have pelican there again. I dig pelican but all the new stuff with vocals is just not as good. They need to bring back the melvins and lair of the Minotaur
