    From the Toronado SF website:

Bottles are for on-premises consumption only, $60 each.
Draft starts at 6 pm, $10 for 6 ounces.

I wonder if Cable Car bottles to-go are gone forever. They didn't sell any bottles to go at the last anniversary party either (or so I heard).

When was the last Cable Car release? When they did it in late 2013 (October, I want to say) they did have it available to go. Was there one between then and now?

Yeah, last one was 10/31/2013 and there hasn't been a release since.

It's strange though that Toronado San Diego doesn't appear to be doing a release tonight, as they historically do them at the same time. Is it possible this is just a SF Beer Week 'event' and there'll be a proper bottle release at a later date?

Chances are you're right that it's an SF Beer Week thing. They announced the availability of the bottles the same time they posted their notice about Pliny the Younger.

This week in SD is all about the PtY hype-train.
    Gotta save the CC.

Do they still have bottles? Going up to SF on Sunday and I'd love to crush one while there.

PNC is amazing, so it was probably a better, and cheaper, tradeoff.

I love the post a few down of Cable Car Kriek with a 3* and "I'm not a sours person"!

Poor CCK...you could have had so much better.

Did they confirm this years vintage did drop in SD but they ran out? Or are you referring to the cable car vintage they sometimes have in their cellar?

That makes me so sad knowing that there are really people out there tasting cable car that aren't "sour people" :slight_frown:

We asked about the vintage & this years. Out of the vintage, no idea when this years would be released. Total bummer.

Can you compare it to having past years fresh? Out of the past several years' releases (excluding 2013 which I didn't even bother to try fresh), the only one I thought approached amazing when fresh was CCK in 2011 - everything else has been quite clearly young and in need of time to come together. Is this year's batch better out of the gate, or ?

Personally I have thought 2012 to be awesome out of the gate and to me, still one of the best vintages.
