Just hit Ottawa County

 

Just saw it today in Ottawa County, too. Around $18 though, seemed steep. Someone let me know how it is, I wasn't a fan of Big L so I held off on this.

Founders just tweeted they currently have KBS 2013, CBS, and Blushing Monk on tap, in case you're interested in that sort of thing.

 

Confirmed, as my distributor said it is available to me next week, 3 case limit.

But it apparently hit Ottawa county already, so I guess that its already confirmed lol

Heading to Kalamazoo on Sunday but the BC location is a bit out of my way, and who knows if it would last that long. Wonder if it would be the same price at ours, since I'll have to drive by it on Sunday as well... Or if prices are set by each store.

 

Most stores in the GR area got around 10 cases each, with no limits on the purchase. Founders themselves are imposing a 6 bottle limit. After hitting up Founders and two other stores, I got my case squirreled away for rainy days:

 

Had it today on tap... very very good. Only grabbed 4 but may have to grab some more tomorrow if i can stand after beerfest

 

mj, I consider you to be a great source of information as it pertains to Founders. Do you have a sense at how long Blushing Monk will be sold at Founders? Has there been any information released as to the number of bottles or anything like that?

 

I don't have any exact numbers, but I know they made a shit ton. They know that Blushing Monk is the second most in demand Backstage behind CBS, and for them to allocate out as much as they did and still have a 6 bottle limit with no worries as to making it a ticketed release tells me that they're going to have a lot of it. If you're coming in for Beer Fest this weekend, I'd be genuinely shocked if you didn't get some at the brewery.

 

Any word if Blushing Monk is still available at Founder's General Store?

 

Stopped last night after the beerfest and they had plenty still

 

General store still had bottles yesterday.

The cashier said they expected to last with a six bottle limit all the way through Friday the 6th. We'll see, just what I was told.

There was ALOT of it made it appears.

 

How much was it a bottle at the general store?

 

Think it was $17/bottle if I remember correctly.
