There's only about a dozen SD threads on the first page or 2. Should I made a few more for each question I think of?

 

It's amazing, when I went to Portland I didn't even need to make a thread. Just browsed the first two pages.

 

Be sure to go to Alpine, where you can get Chez Monus and Bad Boy bottles, no limit. Churchill's should have plenty of Finest Hour on tap. And Bevmo has a couple cases of Cable Car on the floor.

 

Isn't there a mod who could just dispose those threads before all the Pacific forum regulars' frustration comes out? Or maybe make like 3 threads about San Diego sticky?

 

The Bros have vetoed a sticky thread and I don't think there are any mods whose regional home is the Pacific forum. There are a couple who pop in periodically, but no one in here enough to merge threads or point people to the Visiting San Diego thread.

You could always come up to Escondido, and come check out the 2,000 craft beers (definitely some sours to choose from) over at the landmark store, Holiday Wine Cellar, and enjoy some of your pickings at your own leisure in the tasting room, or take them with you. Cheers to your vacation!

 

Each regional forum should have a moderator, hell I will even volunteer, and on top of that let's create a thread that is pinned to the top with the Top 5 most frequently asked questions:
-Where can I find Pliny?
-Where does Russian River distribute and when?
-Any idea what stores carry Pliny?
-Can someone please tell me how many bottles of Pliny I can buy @ Russian River?
-Where do I go in San Diego?

They are quick to delete my Notorious BIG video in the Fig Poppa thread but allow posts like these for days.

 

Also need to have one sticky for Pliny related things.

 

Could we sticky that one thread that got locked after like 2 pages of "how to pronounce Pliny"? And then another sticky of Pliny vs Pliney...the battle wages on!

There used to be a moderator that combined a lot of threads (maybe even one of the bros?), but they've clearly backed off in the past year or so. And stickies? No way. LOL

 

I was going to say just go to San Diego Brewers Guild website but then I realized you guys pretty much got it covered. Don't forget the 8 kegs of Younger pouring at True North today.
