dunno if too late, but sunset beer co had it today around 4pm. I got there at 5 and there were 2 cases out of 3 left

 

*crosses fingers that they carbonate it fully this time* Will give it another shot!

 

Just my personal opinion but I was not an early fan of Modem Tones but between their excellent fruit sours and their city and shit I can't remember but their other of the sun beer I think the stuff they are putting out lately is comparable to the great breweries.

 

Cockstaggeringly dank bro sauce takes a while to dial in, too.

 

I agree. That's why I'm hoping the new barrel aged stuff is gonna be smooth sailing.

 

Picked up a 4-pack last night and had a couple... really good stuff. They have been killing it so far this year with City of the Sun/Dead and now Booming Rollers.

 

Interesting, as Blazing World and, to a lesser extent, Fortunate Islands still feel the most dialed in to me, though I haven't been able to try Booming/City(s) yet. I'll say this much -- MT has their finger hard on the pulse of the craft world -- tons of special releases, tons of hops, and sour/barrel-aged stout/etc. offerings. Dudes are working their butts off.

 

i cracked one last night and it was fucking awesome. on par with and possibly edging out Blazing World

 

Beverage Warehouse this morning -- no limit on 4-packs that I was made aware of.

 

Grabbed some booming rollers last night at Hi-Time in Costa Mesa - fantastic. We sucked down a 4 pack pretty quickly after getting home from the PtY event at Crow Bar. Feeling pretty sluggish this morning!

 

Anyone know if Boomin Rollers will be available this weekend at the breweries at Point Loma/Flavordome?

 

I would be very surprised if it were not still on draft. Cans are all over the place, so even if the brewery is out (which I doubt) you shouldn't have a problem finding them.
