Are you an introvert or an extrovert BA?

Definitely an introvert. A lot of people associate introverts with shyness which isn't always true. I enjoy talking to and spending time with other people. But if I interact with large groups for an extended period of time I get exhausted and need to recharge by spending time alone... preferably with a tasty beer!

 

A little bit of both but more introvert. I have a two little kids and most of the time my wife and I hang out for for a couple hours and enjoy some excellent beer (me) and wine (her). We don't have a ton of down time so we bother prefer the good stuff!

 

I am both. Love just hangin at home with the wife and dogs.If we want to go out I got it made......my wife does not drink!!!!!! Built in DD AND IT KICKS ASS!!!!!!!

 

For craft beer, I'm an introvert, all of my friends are BMC drinkers, I do have a craft bar that I visit, but only for one or two...gotta drive home

 

Since most of my friends frequent bars that only serve Budweiser, Coors Light, etc. I usually enjoy a beer alone or in a small group setting.

Extrovert cause I dispense all my energy on people. Then I get in the fetal position and drink craft beer. Or I'm just a secret introvert

 

Total introvert here.
I don't mind going out to places in the off hours, but I'm not very fond of most people in general, and I hate crowds.
I did, at one time, spend a great deal of time at bars and pool halls, but those days are long past.
Give me a few good beers, some good food, and good company, and I'm all set.

 

Used to be an extrovert until I had my first child. Now most of my beer consumption is done sitting in the recliner after my daughter is put to bed.

 

Definitely an introvert. I drink beer all the time at home, but I could most likely count on 1 hand the amount of times I go to the bar in a year. I just find it be a much less expensive and more relaxing setting at home, than at a bar.

 

Mainly an introvert, staying at home to enjoy a beer out of my collection, unless I have a DD. I have a DD, the. I like to go out and enjoy a few or more, but then usually with a small group of people, brother, close friends or family. I'm too fucking old to want to go to a hopping bar or hip scene, even if it's a really hip beer bar. Too loud, too pretentious, too much bad music, too fucking annoying. But that's just me. Give me a great beer from my collection, a game, a session on my stereo listening to good tunes, or a good movie and I'm a happy guy!

 

I prefer to go to a bar and have the social experience, but unfortunately most of my friends/coworkers don't like beer and prefer hard alcohol, and normally when I set up drinks I let the other person choose. I normally go with the good old Moscow Mule those times.

Another factor I deal with is often I work from 8 am to 8 pm. Many times I just want to get home and go to bed so I can get up in the morning and get to work again. Unfortunately this is normal in the entertainment industry.

So with combo of those two I wold guess that I am more of an introvert, but would love to change it to an extrovert, but work doesn't really allow me to.

 

I would venture to say that most of us that say home or with a few friends are older. When I was younger I was a total barfly. Now I hate going out. Especially to crowed bars. I would rather gather with my group chat about whatever the hell we want and not deal with a bunch of youngin's and/or idiot drunks. I choose to be an idiot drunk at home!

Honestly, I enjoy grabbing a few new bottles and sitting at home with the gf after a long day.

 

This. Although I would generally neither identify as introvert or extrovert since they are the extreme ends of a spectrum and it kinda depends. In fact, I would wager most people aren't really on these extreme ends. I do like bars/pubs/brewpubs and the like with a nice atmosphere, I don't like clubs with ridiculously ear-shattering music, dirty floors and an awful sound system. Doesn't help that the music played in clubs at that volume is likely to give me headaches.

 

I'm probably the most introverted person I know.

So for beer drinking? My favorite spot on the couch, chair in front of the TV, or at my desk at home...that's where I can really enjoy beer. And preferably alone or only my wife & kids around.

Saturday night is probably not the best time to start this thread if you're looking for a balanced response.

I wouldn't label myself as an introvert or an extrovert, but if you put them at each end of a scale respectively, I'd probably score myself as a 65.

I like having a beer at home, especially on, say, a Sunday night, but generally much prefer to be out at the bar/pub.
