Love all the Midwestern offers and reporting everyone who tells them they're way off.

 

Missed it by about 20min. Got there just before 2pm.

 

I can't say I'm seeing too many offers coming from the midwest. Looks like most of them are from California.

 

Got my 4, saw the post after it has been up for 45 minutes, made the hour drive. No line, in and out in 2 minutes.

 

Gotta love the false info being spread. How can these be aged in refilled Remy barrels when they were aged 1 year longer than the first batch? We're they aged side by side and emptied at different times?

 

20 minutes out I call them. "Yeah man we have 6 cases left". When I get there they have been out for 30 minutes and try and upsell me by saying take a look around the shop lol. Screw that. Drove an hour to get a Gatorade and chips.

TAPS has confirmed that this was the second half of the original batch that was aged an additional year. I asked TAPS specifically on their instagram.

This is BS. The owner would never do that. Once he was down to a few cases he would tell the people calling that he was sold out. For sure, nice try man.

 

I wish he did that, then I wouldn't have had to drive to the IE lol. Believe whatever you want but at the end of the day it's a business guys.

Pulled the vintage 2007 Gatorade from a cask mixed with lemon zest, growler fills were made.

 

Better do it quick though before more people actually drink the beer and realize it's an average BA stout.....

I was hoping to finally get a taste. Tried to get there in time, but, no more bottles. Anyone thinking of doing a tasting party? Small donation at the door??
