hint 3, I will not be traveling this state to go to my sister's wedding in September.

I also have a trade landing today! even tho it's super cold to ship. I will be shipping out @EA728's this week for his LIF!

I also got another fed ex alert from VA... not sure if it's related to beer or not.

 

Just please don't initiate a Lickinghole LIF... that just sounds wrong...

 

ALSO My sister's wedding is in September in Indiana and we will be driving. Anyone who wants to meet up along the way please let me know!

 

I would throw in for 2-3 bottles of this as well if there is room.

Where about in Indy? Make the drive to the northwest and we can have a drink at FFF.

 

Another hint - the closest brewery "as the crow flies" to my target's house takes longer to get to than the next closest brewery.

 

Fort Wayne, I really want to try to go to FFF though, even though its out of the way.

 

Yeah, it is a bit out of the way from Fort Wayne, but if you're already driving this far, what's the extra hour +? And you can go to 18th Street as well which is really gaining some notoriety around here and a place I really enjoy. And soon my BIF target will be enjoying as well, I hope.

 

It was actually two minutes - approximately how long ZD stays fresh before it drops off.

 

That's my thinking. We will most likely drive up there a day or two before the wedding, I will keep you in the loop!

Basically what they said. If Austin wasn't 2.5-3 hours away I'd meet each of you visiting to share a few brews. But I might have to make it up there for at least one of you guys. Plus it gives me another excuse to go visit Jester King.
Also, stop by Pieous while you're down near JK. They have the best pastrami.
If you guys are picking up any other Texas goodies, I prefer East 1st Grocery, definitely worth checking out as they tend to keep most good Texas locals in stock.

 

And didn't @dwmetsfan13 spend some time down there last week too? Curious to hear your TX trip report.

Side question. Should we consider having a Locals travel calendar, so we know when we will be traveling to other people's areas?

 

Here's a picture of Buster after his surgery. I heard he is doing much better this morning and we should be able to bring him home later today.

 

She is actually into breweries to an extent so might do both. BBQ and other food stands is on the list for sure, a few breweries and shopping in sure. She is into crafty stuff and such and shopping in general so Im sure ill be bored a few days.
