Is there still a March/April brewpub bottle release in the works?

 

I believe they were going to try to do a May release...maybe April.

 

Okay, gotcha. For some reason I was recalling from the December release that he next one was March or April. I'm gonna be so busy these three months it's gonna be a crapshoot if I can make it anyway.

 

Is there a release calendar available, specifically for the canned/bottled production lists? I know about the year-round offerings but I'd love to know if any of the others correspond to my visits to Cleveland (Matriarch, Mandala, etc).

 

Is funky south paw on tap at the tap room or brew pub?

 

If you are not a big barrel aged fan, you definitely are not going to get the most out of what they have to offer. That being said, I would love to see Waka Waka canned. Fantastic! Also, the taproom did just expand on the taps a couple of weeks ago, but still more options at the Brew Pub and Public House. Personally I like the Public House side. Like others mentioned, may not be back up to full speed yet.

 

The Public House is up and operating now. The kitchen is just boarded off.

 

answers to some of the questions above... Funky South Paw is on tap at the Brewpub. Mandalas and Matriarch appear when we can squeeze them into production, no set schedule. All cans are year round. All double IPAs are Draft only. Public House opens Thursday through Saturday at 8pm till 2am. We hope to have the kitchen/public house open fully/regular hours by Brew Week (mid July) but this will be very difficult. Still no roof on the kitchen. Next bottle release is May 8th/9th. Details will emerge very soon.

The news you’ve all been waiting for: our next bottle sale is scheduled for May 8 and 9! We’ll be offering over 40 drafts as well as bottles of Funky South Paw, Dynamo Fuzz (barrel aged peach sour), Cellar Cuvee 3 (blend of 18-month bourbon barrel Imperial Razz and 8-month bourbon barrel-aged Sparbock), as well as another choice yet undecided. Super 8 in Athens is reserving nights at a special block rate (around $90 plus tax) for May 8, so tell them you’re with Jackie O’s when you call. Stay tuned for more details, but this sale will run much like our others have in the past.

 

Well, that figures, that's my wedding weekend. Maybe a good BA/Clevelander or 2 can mule some goods back. Sort of a "Congratulations on getting married" type of gesture.

Dynamo Fuzz!!! Dreaming of fruited berliners until May 8th

 

I'm so excited for fuzz, but the fruited berliners are the star of the show everytime.

 

I was on a waiting list for OU inn. I called to see how much it was going to be if a room became available. They want $295 per night

Thank god Brad set something up with Super 8. Days inn wants $169 plus tax

 

The Super 8 is a nice place. I would never pay for the OU Inn unless I had to be close to campus... or somebody else was paying.
