So I took a bit of a break from this thread and returned here and there and am now back but I seemed to have missed what this Ninja box stuff is. I kind of can guess what it is and you just send a box to some dude without them knowing just to be a nice guy but please correct me if I am wrong

Damn that's exactly what I was going to say. Someone opens your growler of a local IPA while you're down for the count, whatever, even if it's out of spite (though that's kinda dick).... opening up your Cantillon?! What ass-hats.

 

Worth every penny IMO lol. Just would've guessed closer to 12-15 range.

 

Does anybody else find themselves tracking boxes they ship more frequently than tracking numbers for boxes they are getting? I want my damn box delivered to someone on the east coast already!

I need piece of mind knowing my box o' beer is in good hands.

 

One of my new semi-regular beer stores (actually a grocery story with a great beer department) has Regular Coffee on tap -- $16 for a 32 oz growler. And it's without a doubt worth it.

 

Definitely. Just confirmed that my trade box landed today. The sixterhood should land tomorrow.

EDIT: This winter has been miserable for shipping. My trade box to @Kramerbarthomer took an extra 4 days to get there. Drove me crazy.

 

Touchdown in the Wolverine state (hopefully we'll be saying that a lot come September @Tee2Grn )

 

Shipping to Cali always wigs me out, because of the delay between updates.

 

Yeah hopefully those touchdowns are for the Wolverines and not against them. Two boxes arrived today and both have been unpacked. I will post pictures after I make dinner.

 

Honestly, Ive given away more of this beer than I have drank myself. I picked up the last 2 4 packs they had. Some of which is already going out in my Mid round, not sure what we are calling it, try hard to not send more than 150oz even though @Dave_Treat already did circle jerk BIF. I have some local friends that have yet to try this as well, so I need to put a couple cans off to the side. But honestly, if Carton could produce this beer monthly and can it, and distro it, I think they could retire.

 

Sorry @HoppySeb, the peanut brittle place is only open Friday through Sun now, so even though I picked up the last beers for your BIF box, I won't have the peanut brittle to ship this week. Will ship Monday or Tuesday next week, I promise.

yea and you know what, fuck the Cantillon anyways. You just don't do that, especially when you have atleast 50+ other great beers at your disposal..

 

Totally agree, just PLEASE don't let it ruin Cantillon for you, their beers are way too good to forgo permanently because of some dickweed.

 

Dear Target, you still probably have no idea that you're my target because my hints have been lame. However, I have 108 oz set aside for you so far. Still working on your box. I'm home to get you out by the 16th, but should be able to do it by the 23rd.

Some more content hints, one beer is from the other side of the country from me, so not a local at all, but a want of yours. One beer so far is only available in NJ. Two beers are only available in NYC. The others are relative locals (one is a want of yours).

 

Target I shipped your box today, forgot to include a piece of glassware I had for you but I will send that at a later date. Possibly with more beer
