Wait until you try the Full Stack...even better! Definitely one of my favorites being brewed today.

I think Singlecut could really make a name for themselves in the IPA/DIPA market.

IMHO, not even close. Full Stack is better and that is not even close to best beer in NY.

Depends whether we are talking IPA or DIPA, including both off the top of my head:

    All Green Everything
    Green Diamonds
    Flower Power
    OH Nelson

EDIT , Oh shit, how can I forget Peekskill Higher Standard!

Singlecut makes some great beers. their Mad Michael Flying V sour lager is delicious.

You forgot IPAs from Barrier Brewing - Money, Dunegrass, Daddy Warbucks.
But do we still consider Flower Power a top NY IPA? Its kind of one dimensional in my opinion. I know it was one of the only notable widely distributed brewed in NY IPAs for awhile but since then many new beers have come out.

re: SingleCut - I go there quite often, Dean mahogany ale is one of my favorites of all time. but I never loved the Billy IPAs - just my tastes. I really enjoyed the Mo Shuggie last time I was there.
But I'll give the Billy beers another go soon.

It's pretty nicely priced and available for how good it is, too. I thoroughly enjoyed the bottle I had a week or so ago (just a notch below the top tier, was my reaction), and have the other one (?- I forget the name) in the beer fridge waiting for the weekend. Those were the only two bottles available in Rockland County at the moment.

ETA: Soulbender- that's what it is! I really should remember that one- it sounds like it could be a movie featured on MST3K .

I've seen the 200-Watt recently circulating throughout the city on tap. Anyone know if there are near-term plans to bottle?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Blog on there website says more Bon Bon being shipped out and more Full Stack mid-March.

It's out in the hinterlands but War Elephant from Rushing Duck in Chester is another local NYS DIPA that's killing it.

I absolutely love this beer, been spreading the love by giving them as extras. Everyone has absolutely loved it when I send it. 5.99 a bomber is a great deal these days IMO. I'm glad they are bottling their stuff now. I need to get my rear end to the vrewery, they are down the street from Mil's house, maybe drop the baby off with her and go check it out.
