Wanting to Trade Lone Pint Yellow Rose

    I'm coming in from Houston to Seattle and am looking to trade a few yellow rose IPAs for Freemont or Rubens brew bourbon barrel aged stouts. Let me know who is interested.

    I may be completely off base, but you may get more traction with some Jester King bottles than an IPA (we just have tons of great IPA's here in the NW). In any case, good luck on your trades and hope you enjoy Seattle!

    Will you not be able to make it to Fremont or Ruebens? Both of those have good taprooms and you can buy some of their stuff at any bottleshop.

    Just not sure you need to trade for it unless you are looking for specialty stuff - and then in that case, I'm not sure if a growler of IPA will land it.

    Reuben's BA Stout was a very small release that sold out immediately. I've heard good things about Yellow Rose, but I still don't know if that IPA has the trade value to land it.

    BBomb is still available in stores, and you might be able to find some KDS if you look hard.

    Thanks for the help, I do have a jester king gotlandsbricka batch #2. Yellow Rose is one of the most sought after IPAs in the country so I thought someone would be willing to trade. I've hade the kbs and cbs so I'm looking for something local to Seattle. Any other help would be appreciated! Thanks

    You could probably trade Yellow Rose for a Bbomb (I'd do that if you're interested), but the Reuben's BA Stout has a very small bottling run and would probably take more than that. Yellow Rose for a Blimey! That's Bitter would also be a good 1:1.

    He meant Fremont KDS, not Founders KBS or CBS. That beer is definitely local to Seattle, quite possibly the best beer made in Seattle in fact.

    Edit: just perused the trade forum for Yellow Rose. People are pulling down some decently heavy stuff for it. What is this, a Texas heady topper?!

    From the description ... Yellow Rose IPA is A SMaSH. Its just Weyermann Pilsner Malt and a bunch of mosaic hops to bitter, flavor and dry hop. Seems like a pretty easy clone job for me. I do love my mosaic.

    Yellow rose is delicious. Regularly made, sure, but up there with the best IPAs being made anywhere in the county, IMO.

    How much do 22s of FH Cowiche go for? Not that much, I don't think, and I doubt that beer is near the beer Cowiche is.
