A nice relaxing Sunday since I can't bottle my White IPA for another couple weeks, and the Oak Aged barleywine still needs about 2 more months minimum conditioning.

Always delicious, spot on American Porter. Bells year round beers have become somewhat of a rediscovery for me. I went from pretty much never buying them, to always buying them regularly last year. Such an impressive lineup and always spot on style examples.


Always fantastic. I have been buying this a lot more often recently as well. We finally have been seeing this really fresh around here. Prior to the turn of the year I would basically only be able to buy this at 3 months old at the freshest. Now I have been seeing 3ish week old packs around.


1 year old bottle. Huge raisin, plum, cherry, fig fruits with molasses, toffee, toast, and brown sugar malt balance. Some slight pepper/clove yeast spice but not much. I've always been a fan of this one. Very smooth for 10%, minimal warming on the finish.

Yesterday felt like winter was easing her grip, and warm sunshine and 40 degrees felt pretty good! Today will be about the same.....starting to see swans and great blue herons and other waterfowl getting active on my lake.....

I know I am jumping the gun (get your Bock Out! for 3/21), but this one is pretty delicious!
