    Today is one of those seasonally perfect days. No work, shit-load of "usable" snow, decent temps (considering the deep freeze of February) all come together for a great day. Built a good size snowman with my daughter with this thick, roasty beauty in tow. Nothing like a Fidy on a lazy Sunday afternoon...

    9 out of 10 snowmen prefer Ten Fidy over the leading canned Imperial Stout. Cheers.

    This is the first of the day. A very nice rauchbier. Nice subtle smoke. I am a little annoyed as I should be using this snow to cool my wort for my stout. Thanks to the snowstorm and stupid UPS I will not be able to brew until Tuesday. Come on guys 4 inches of snow on Thursday and I do not get my grain until Monday....maybe. Since this is the third day it was supposed to be delivered.

    Lake Placid Bean to coffee stout and some fish n chips, bangers n mash and a scotch egg. Decent beer selection here, food fair. Victory Hop Devil on nitro next. Never had a nitro IPA

    and Some Smoked Brats for Lunch at work this week ( yeah they wont last till then )
