The area surrounding Crater Lake, I guess- in the range of 6,200 feet. We had growlers of Bridgeport Blue Heron.

My fridge sits at 7,200' here in Santa Fe…so any time I drink a beer it's the highest I've drank a beer.

One time heading west from Denver a bus I was on went over the pass instead of through the tunnel. I think the pass is at 12000 ft. For some reason we thought it was a good idea to chug a beer there.

I'm really not sure. Leaving aside the many times I've had a drink in an airplane, the highest altitude I can say I've had a beer with absolute certainty is in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Its altitude is listed as 7,199 ft, but I have no idea where I've had a beer in relationship to wherever that measurement is taken. I have family and friends that I've visted there on various occasions, so the beers consumed are numerous. Between the altitude and the air being more arid than I am accustomed to, I really need to watch my drinking there or I get dehydrated and feel like crap very easily.

My guess is 8,600 feet in Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park. Had several beers there from Mammoth Brewing. Great post hike unwinding location.
