You deserved to be flamed. How many times did you come on BA, know about this thread and ignore it? Not until someone pointed out employment information you have on your public profile did you leap to attention and come on this thread. Send the man his money and go away.

 

Can we put away the tar and pitchforks for a minute please?

@Kurmaraja are you satisfied with the resolution? That's really the only thing that matters here.

Once we have confirmation of that, I'll lock the thread but leave it up for future reference. Other traders can make their own decisions based on the information here.

 

Any efforts going to be made for @MCMASTERSANCHEZ?

 

In terms of what? No beer was sent in that trade, if I remember correctly, so not sure what compensation would be expected.

Glad it all got worked out (hopefully). Amazing what a little pressure can do Sad it had to come to that, but it seems we're headed to a resolution.

 

The moral to this (and most bad trader threads):

Don't overextend yourself. If you do happen to get in the weeds, be a man (or woman) and let your trading partner know exactly what is going on. Ignoring multiple communication efforts from your partner only shows what type of character you actually have. That's the one thing on these threads that drives me crazy. It literally takes seconds to respond to a text or PM.

I'm not sure that there would have been a happy resolution if @kmello69 wouldn't have made the facebook post. Would be nice to hear from the OP when he gets taken care of.

 

Paid? That's rough, so no beer- were you paid w interest due to increasing values of cellared beer?

 

Glad it got worked out. These often don't have happy endings, so something is better than nothing.

 

To ease some concerns. I assured Ryan that once he got settled and moved to his new place, he would provide me with an address and that I would do the right(er) thing. Call it "interest", or just trying to turn a shitty situation where I look like a dick into a halfway not as shitty where some guy doesn't think i'm a dick. But he will be getting some beer from me. Not to bring up the past- but traders I've dealt with will know that I will make sure to send some treats. I'm trying to do the right thing here, even if it is a little late in the game.
