Will We See Ananke Again?

Not that I know... But I would be surprised if they dident. I would attribute the delay to them shifting the bulk of their production to the new place... again.... I could be wrong. But I would imagine it will return with force! I hope so atleast. Love that beer.

 

Yeah pretty sure Scott mentioned last year that they weren't going to release it in 2014 because they've been too busy with the second location, now that all that is settled, I don't see why they wouldn't have that coming up.
I really hope they release it, things just weren't the same at Freetail without it.

 

It's in barrels. They just needed time to get production going at FT2. They had to essentially start their sour program over at the new brewery, but there should be more then there has been in the past from now on.

Unfortunately, I will be in the same area code as you this weekend til Tuesday. Perhaps we can coordinate being as far away from one another as possible.

The whole business of staying in San Antonio as opposed to driving through it, leaves a rather foul taste in my mouth. (Much like your baking) I would have traveled to the vastly superior city of Austin had SXSW not been going down. Beggars can't be choosers.

There are several barrels at the new facility with Ananke aging in them. No clue when they'll be emptied. The brewpub will be throwing on some of their sours during SA Beer Week, but I don't know which ones.

Our barrel program has expanded considerably, but it will take time of course. But once finished beer starts rolling out from it, expect a steady flow.
